How Many Gadgets Can I Insure?
AKKO family gadget insurance covers one cell phone for each family member, plus all other electronic and personal items that need coverage. Plus, you won’t have to pay extra fees to add additional items to your plan —up to 25 items are included on top of your cell phone protection!
How Many Family Members Does the Plan Include?
AKKO family plans can cover up to 20 people. Yes, you read that right! Simply visit the AKKO website and select the Family Plan. There, you can enter the number of adults in your family that need coverage, as well as the number of students. This total will allow AKKO to provide you with accurate pricing for your coverage.
Once you’ve entered the number of family members you’re covering under your AKKO gadget insurance, you’ll be quoted the price for your monthly plan as well as what you can expect to pay in deductibles for damaged, lost, or stolen phones.
You’ll also be quoted the student deductibles vs. adult deductibles to be expected in the event of accidental damage, theft, or loss of your non-phone items, including laptops, smartwatches, speakers, and more.

How it Works
Based on how many adults and students are signing up for your family gadget insurance plan, AKKO will quote your monthly price. Though phone deductibles will always fall within the range of $29 and $99 for all insured customers, non-phone deductible costs and coverage fees vary depending on your status as an adult or student.
Cost Per Adult and Child
A $49 deductible is expected for the replacement of any insured item apart from a cell phone for students (this includes children under 18 and other dependents on your plan).
Conversely, the deductible for non-cell phone item replacement under your AKKO plan is $99 for adults.
Adult or dependent status also changes the overall cost of your protection plan month to month. Each adult on a full coverage AKKO plan costs $15, while each child on the same plan costs $12.
Which Items Are NOT Covered by an AKKO Family Plan?
AKKO family plans do not cover the following:
- Automobiles, boats, or aircraft
- Money
- Personal documents or ID
- Medications
- Artwork
- Firearms
- Collectibles or antiques
